Fuel pressure reg right before the existing pump. Or put a t piece in right before the existing pump and run a 'return' to the tank. Block how much the t piece leaks to adjust the pressure.

Did you do a dual system? Easy fix to make the engine happy is to swap prior to stops to diesel. Aka, run on “alternative fuel” then swap to diesel via switch to clear lines and injectors. Also heat the alternative fuel to allow it have good viscosity and to atomize

burning oil maybe bad rings compression test are you overheated the tops of the Pistons not having the proper lubrication or oil in your fuel mixture

the 7.3 Ford runs off of the HPOP. motor is pressured by oil and not fuel. its got an hpop issue
