told the state trooper to his face that I don't trust law enforcement and I'm a first responder as well. while he said that was disheartening I said you guys only have yourselves to blame.

real quick @OptimizeLaw there is not a expectation of privacy on public roads which allows law enforcement to be able to run any license plate on any public roads. The guy said he was from the state of texas. Texas requires three things to drive on the road; valid DL, current registration, and liability insurance so if police ran the plate and saw he didn't have any of the three then it is a legal stop.
