I don’t know how Mercedes Benz works but with BMW you can just just use a software and code it to remember that you switched it off, but I think its the same with Merc 🤷♂️

Unfortunately, you can't switch it OFF when the car is on Eco mode! you have to change the driving mode!

Press and hold it it should turn red but as soon as you switch engine off leave or park or whatever it automatically turns on when you start

You cant permanently disable it, eveytime you switch your car off it comes back on. Its very irritating trust me 🤣🤣🤣

Buy a new battery and specify it should not have a stop/start. If the battery is stop/start then it will automate

On individual drive mode,set up everything you comfortable with,then deactivate start/stop.Then always choose individual mode when you drive.
