I had to get the series after being bitten by a dog… 1cc-1.5cc in each limb.. flu like symptoms almost immediately after getting them. Massive head and body aches. Symptoms lasted for 4 days and on day three I had to go in for more shots… it sucked 😭

Girl, my 1st dose of the pre-exposure vaccine was given in the WRONG spot 💀 I had to get a 3rd dose + a signed letter from the medical director holding them accountable. No reactions though! Thankfully!

Of all the vaccines I’ve taken over the years (human med and vet med) the rabies series was the least bothersome. It’s so wild how we all react differently to vaccines!

the pharmacist didn’t change the needle after drawing up my rabies vaccine. i now understand the importance and will NEVER give an injection without changing the needle 😭😭😭

I had no side effects from getting rabies shots. I was going through vestibular neuritis at the time (totally unrelated and just a random FML time period). That itself was horrible so it could have distracted me from any side effects tho
