I love the idea that since celestial lives so long, she can’t make friends, so when twilight became a princess, she was upset that she still saw her as her teacher and not a friend, and that’s why she wasn’t honest with her like she is with her other friends

Twilight bowing only made it worst. Celestia wanted to see her as an equal not some high princess. And she surly was disappointed because of all the time she knew twilight, she hadn’t expected her to say such things and most of all lie to her.
