We have so many comments asking for this Danish classic , so who better to invite to the CheatMeats HQ kitchen than Alex Crisp to show us how it’s really done 🥰 We roasted the pork at a lower temp of 180C for 1.5hrs before cranking the heat to 200C for the last 30 minutes for the ultimate crackle. Remove from the oven and rest uncovered for 15 minutes to allow the crackle to harden. Slice and serve straight in to heavily buttered baguettes with red cabbage slaw and gravy. Trust us when we say this was absolutely delicious and so much fun! I’ve always done the crackling part of it first then turned it down to slow cook.. is there really a difference with the crackling outcome weather you do it first or last
