@womenofillustration: Don’t think of it as “trying to get views.” Think of it as showing up as your real self. If you’re being honest and putting your weird little heart out there, that’s already a win. You don’t have to trauma dump to connect. Some people build community just by being funny. But if people aren’t reacting to your work, it’s probably because they don’t feel anything yet. Easiest fix? Add text. Not to your original artwork, just the version you post online. Give people a reason to stop scrolling and care. You’ll be shocked how many more people read your caption once they know there’s something real behind it. Want more anti-cringe art advice?
