Wow peaked in late vanilla/burning crusade. Our guild limped into wotlk and were doing icc 25 man for a while but by the time cataclysm came out it just wasnt the same anymore.

I’ll never forget that one night, wife and kids were in bed sleeping, me and the guild on Ventrilo, picked up a quick 10man heroic LK run with the GM on his Spriest, I was on my Tank druid, warrior OT died in 2nd phase of LK, i solo tanked it out and we got the kill! Omg amazing times!

If wow vanilla released today with this generation of MMO players, this game would of flopped in a month.. The success of wow is purely nostolgia... It's the main reason why there will never be another MMO that comes close to this. Unless a company does something revolutionary that reforms the MMORPG genre as a whole..

World of Warcraft was my childhood. The nostalgia in this video will always makes me happy but also sad knowing i’ll never be able to relive those memories piece by piece. It was the greatest game I ever experienced through talking to many people back in the day, getting help, achieving things like mounts, boss kills or achievements. I miss it so much.
