Hiked angels landing in January a few years ago. Started at 5:00am and watched the sunrise sitting all alone at the top. Felt like a lottery pull for a hike.

One of my favorite places in the whole world! I did Angel's Landing two years ago, and I was getting incredibly sick. chalked it up to elevation sickness and pushed through. I ended up doing AL in full kidney failure. I cant wait to go back after my transplant and recovery.

Started this at 6pm, everyone told us that it was a bad idea and that we wouldn’t get back till dark. So we did it anyways, there was maybe 10 other people throughout the whole trail. We got to the top just in time to see the sun set but made sure not to stay too long. Ended up needing flashlights at the end of the switchbacks and it was pretty dark but we made it back and I still think it’s the perfect time to go.
