i think that the curls are way too tight and wavy because of looking at your hair it looks like a lott of waves and looking at the picture it looks like the curls are alot appart and not that tight (idk if it helps or im just wrong but thats just my opinion)

1.Clip your curls using rollers and then spray your hair. 2. To bring the volume you should curl your front hair towards your hair and then brush it out with a big curl comb 3.after taking rollers off pin your hair in the way you would want them to lay and spray again , do not brush.

There is 2 different ways to curl with a curling wand. One way is twisting the hair and curling it which gave u the results on day 2 and the other way is trying to keep the hair straight and prevent it from twisting as you’re curling. I think u like the twisting way more! Hope that helps!

Also pinning the curls and letting the curls cool helps with longevity of the style and volume! - you could also get this style done as a trial at a salon, observe, ask for tips from the stylist!

I feel like u need to find a tutorial on how to do that with long hair because your hair is a lot longer than hers in the picture that’s why her hair is framed like that obviously I don’t really know but that’s what helped me when I had my long hair
