The stadium is always packed for the Patriots football game. I feel like soccer isn’t as popular here.

In the US there is still a whole generation that still believes soccer isn’t a sport partially because they didn’t grow up playing soccer. It will never be as popular as other sports like NFL, NBA, MLB or NHL.

Ollie,The stadium is too far from the city. The Revs owners are trying to build a soccer stadium in Everett near Encore Casino. It tough because of 4 major sports. Football,basketball, hockey, Baseball!

We want to win but whe have so many sports. Soccer is getting traction but it won’t be 30 years. Give it 5 years with gambling and our players getting better. Our sports stations don’t know what to do with a match when they can’t get commercials in it. I think soccer in the US could benefit from ppv but in minimal amounts until it takes off then go public and free. Pick the big matches to me ppv and roll the profits into

We have so many different sports/leagues that it is impossible for the people who are interested to spread themselves over them all - and geographically it would be impossible for each fan of New England teams to attend their teams’ games! I live on the coast of Maine- almost 7 hours from Gillette.

Like I said you go to Portland or Seattle- sold out stadiums. Soccer very supported here and we have good teams.

totally disagree. I’m a lifetime Bostonian, huge Boston sports fan. But i’m also a massive Liverpool fan and have been to Anfield once over the last 4 years — there is NOTHING like Prem… it’s so much better than MLS and LFC fans are the best

Soccer will always be the least popular. Just my opinion. The low scoring is probably the biggest factor. If soccer was introduced to Chicago in the city, it would be popular.

I just went to my first premier game in Manchester recently and 💯 prefer it over soccer games here in the states. I LOVED the whole experience and already can’t wait to go back

Oh wow! Didn’t think I’d get a response I didn’t mean my comment in a bad way it’s just quite different. Soccer in Ma in particular just isn’t as popular compared to American football, baseball hockey, basketball. I grew up w premier league cause my family is Irish. But in general here it doesn’t get the same respect

Gillette is way to big for soccer! The young kids love it! But it has to make money for them to get their own stadium. The tickets aren’t cheap either.
