ppl mad but do y’all not understand that matcha isn’t even meant to be drunk often? it’s also meant to be drunk by itself- so if ur only drinking it as a latte, etc, using a lower grade of matcha makes more sense 😭

Do people realize that places like….Starbucks uses culinary grade and also… keeping your matcha powder in the freezer helps keep it fresh and aromatic!!!

Buy Maeda-En Universal Matcha it’s like there middle tier next to there cermonial grade matcha and it has a great color and it almost has a similar taste to there ceremonial grade but at half the price

Tbh even if you get a more expensive matcha brand, you can get 3.5oz bag for $40 and with one 2 tsp matcha per day, it only costs about $1.50 per latte and when I compare that to the $8-$12 matcha lattes my city sells, it’s still such a good way to save money.
