I took all the fake food out and put real snacks in. It's against a wall so it doesn't get pushed and all fall out. I used it for potty training rewards. It was awesome!

I wonder if you could put a small dowel in each cubby. Low enough that the toy can tip over when pushed but high enough that they don’t fall randomly

Make a “backing” insert out of fabric or foam and put a slit for each compartment. We had the same issue at our daycare centre and this worked well

I wouldn’t say this is for toddlers. We have toys like such in my school age classroom 5/6/7 , they are very much knowledgeable enough to work it
