I turn my phone over over so no one can read it other than my husband. Half the time my husband is the one sending me some gossip or sexting me while I'm at work and NO ONE NEEDS TO READ THAT!!๐๐๐

I turn my phone when I go to bed because any notification lights the whole damn room up. Iโm not hiding anything, my husband can go through my phone whenever๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ

my husband has his fingerprint registered on my phone and I have it on his. I regularly leave my phone around him without worrying. theres nothing interesting on my phone that he'd wanna see anyways๐คฃ

Not red flags at all. Dating doesnโt guarantee total access. My phone is always face down to avoid the distraction. If its a first date she absolutely has zero rights to see anything - its stalker type behaviour, plus if its work its confidential anyway (my day job is defo confidential).

for me it's a reflex because of my parents invading my privacy like it was an Olympic sport for ages. my husband knows he has full access to it anytime he wants (we both have). and I put it face down because I will eventually grab it and start playing/scrolling unintentionally if I don't (I have ADHD)

Do not reach for someone elseโs phone! Ask , also screen tirned down is a sign of respecting other person and their time , phone away is yet better , thatโs how you show you want to focus on them ,
