oml so kinda rant but I'm in mainstream class right because I've only just started to get diagnosed (my doctor who has a diagnosed child herself thinks I have it) but I like to sit in my seat at the back corner of the class I do it every day for that lesson and then this other kid (with low functioning but still in mainstream?) flipped out at me for sitting in my seat MY SEAT and not there's a seating plan because of that and I'm at the front like why should I acomadate (that's a hard word) for him when he is clearly wrong and he said oh but I always sat there NO YOU DID NOT 1 the teacher sat you at the front because you clearly need extra help 2 the desk were re arranged and I sat there first and then he comes back to school after not being there for like a hole month and says it's his spot like excuse you

I try to be very non condisending and gentle when I try to get someone to calm down, tell them they need to take a deep breath. I had to make a highschool student do that for a min before they were trying to go back to class. I think I'm getting better at it but only when I am calm lol 😅
