When visited Jordan I got to go to Petra. There are lots of buildings in the complex. You have to walk through this small valley and then you get the classic reveal of the iconic Treasury. It’s worth the trip

Machu Picchu is 100% worth visiting. You don’t have to hike (we didn’t). I went in wondering if it was gonna be overrated & touristy - I’d argue the exact opposite, I almost think it’s underrated. I know so few people who’ve been there. They limit how many people can go every day and keep everyone moving through very efficiently. Plus, I’m in love with Cuzco. 1000% worth the trip!!

Been to all. They are great. I think borobudhur in Indonesia should be in the list. The wall in China needs to be repaired once you get away from the tourist area but very impressive.

Chichen itza was cool but i went on a cruise tour and we had less than ah hour there which was frustrating. If you want to see Mayan Ruins I suggest Copan which has smaller buildings but they have the most detailed carvings and there’s a ton to see

i saw the colosseum and we had the opportunity to go inside (idk if that’s normal i went on a school trip but we were the only ones in there)

the workers at the colosseum were literally so rude to me. they were quite literally screaming at me in a language i didn't understand. i understand that people aren't obligated to speak english in non english speaking countries but if you work at a tourist sight you also can't expect everyone to be local. once i got in i was so amazed it didn't matter. what really got me was going down into the pit where they kept the gladiators before the matches. i cried really hard.
