Even when going slow paced or stopped, we still march with our feet as if we are moving full speed. This shown here is casual walking and the strides are abnormally small. Yeah, it was preplanned and purposeful.

as a former marching band kid- they had to actively TRY to be out of step- your muscle memory tries to take over and you can literally see them fighting themselves 🤣 i LOVE this
