As a Bowen Therapist, we have a specific psoas release procedure. It’s amazing at significantly reducing, not just back pain but so many other ailments that show up with a tight psoas.

So…one leg bent on a chair/stool, the other leg straight and propped on a chair/stool?

Is it important to have one knee bent more than the other or can they be elevated in the same position?

This has affected my posture I believe, leading to flare ribs, weak core, etc. Healing.

I was hopeful I finally found SOMETHING. Nothing happened. I’m still in pain and any amount of relaxing any muscles in my back make them tense tightly back up as if they can’t handle not being tense.

As a LMT I can say it does tighten and can cause low back pain. Ask your LMT to release that muscle. We are trained to know how! 💕

As a neuromuscular therapist, I’ve explained this connection to so many clients when they find themselves tearing up as I’m working on it with them. It’s amazing!

Barely nobody knows about this either. I can't even tell you how learning this has saved my back. I would keep putting out content about this.

So how long until the arch on my back flattens against the floor? I feel a soft release but no sign of the lower back ever touching the floor on its own. I have to tuck my tailbone to get the arch on the floor.
