The CPS system and social workers, mental health care system, her parents, the courts, and her personal case worker failed in every single way in saving BOTH the child and Maria. I do hope this case opens up some eyes in the future to prevent an further situations like this from happening and other poor cops from having to live the rest of their lives living with the memory of having had to kill a mother and her baby while trying to kill them with a large knife in the line of duty.

Ok so all I’m saying that the baby would’ve ended up dead because she raised a knife at the officer and still had the baby in her arms and would’ve been dropped depending on how hard the baby hits the floor could killed her immediately… or suffer from something. What would you do if someone crazy raised a knife at you? I would’ve freaked out and shot fire at her as well…

Everyone blaming the cop for shooting at her for coming at him with a big friggin knife? The cop is trained to perceive all threats this way. In a split second all he saw was a threat and a knife. Not the baby. He didn't unalive that baby. SHE DID. That man now has to live with the memory of this moment for the rest of his life. Cops and military have mental health PTSD due to similar situations like this DAILY unfortunately. not saying every cop has the best intentions when situations like this occur, but for the most part this is the unfortunate circumstance to their lives. sadly

Idk why I do this to myself. I saw part 5 and went looking for part 6 and 7. That poor baby. Only bright side is he/she doesn’t have to grow up with these parents.
