Honestly his animation skills in space face were really good I don't think it matters how someone draws or animates tho like matt said he was just happy edd enjoyed his craft despite it looking a bit off its off ness made ir homey plush unlike the other animators I think they used rigging and stuff at least in legacy plus you got to remember edd was the only one animating originally tom and matt had like full blown teams

Edd's animation shows that you don't have to be good at drawing to animate. he made pictures move, which IS animation. He was doing so well before he passed 😔

I mean he's right, but looking from another perspective if he wanted to make his animations as perfect as possible most of the videos we see today would never been uploaded. Plot higher than visuals
