This is @bacogai_restaurant haha in Alameda, a modern Vietnamese comfort restaurant specializing in Lẩu (Vietnamese hot pot). Both @biteswithkellysf and I tried their Lẩu Canh Cua and it was absolutely amazing – hands down, probably the best Vietnamese Hot Pot I've had in the Bay! They're also introducing three new items to their menu and everything is a hit: The Kho Thơ (Vietnamese clay pot) with pork and quail eggs. The pork was super tender with that perfect, deep caramelization. The Bacogai Chicken Wings, coated in the most delicious fish sauce glaze. And my personal obsession: the Garlic Noodles with shaken beef! Each noodle strand was perfectly coated with rich, buttery, super garlicky flavor – absolutely no clumping.
