I can say this could be 100% true or 100% false — I’ve experienced both. So there was a time when I found myself in exactly the situation described by the creator of this video — a truly desperate situation. I would recite istighfar, Asmaul Husna, and similar prayers thousands of times every night, and it worked: I suddenly received money from something I never expected. Then I tried it again the following month, using the same istighfar and the same number of repetitions, but what I was hoping for didn’t happen. After reflecting on it, I realized that what made the difference between success and failure was the strength of hope I felt while reciting istighfar. The first time, when I was truly pleading, I sincerely believed that if I didn’t get help at that moment, I might die or be completely unable to go on, that there was no other way out — so my hope that the One above would help me was incredibly strong. But the second time I tried, I did it with the mindset of wondering whether it was about 1,000 times, 2,000 times, or 3,000 times — basically, I was just curious why it had worked the first time. There wasn’t that same powerful feeling of hope and desperation for God to grant what I was asking.

I’ll be honest, I was unemployed for over a year and was qualified for certain jobs but times were tough. I continued to turn towards Allah swt and make duaa and eventually landed a good job Alhumdulillah.
