This same concept is the reason Northern Nigeria hates and will rather destroy the other part of the country. The British told them, they own rulership and leadership of the country. That's why they always feel entitled to presidency or vice-presidency. There's absolutely no reason why we can't have a southerner and an Eastern as president and vice president or vice-versa. You just always add a northerner otherwise they will burn down the country. It's an established entitlement. Ingrained entitlement is dangerous as it gets passed from generations to generations. No matter the country or context it's always been dangerous
