This month, let's do a more simple unconscious habit to catch yourself on. Today, we explore where you may want to unconsciously be rewarded or valued by yourself for your self-hate. It does not mean that this self-hate carries an insincere motive, just an unexpected desire for incentive. In fact, the sensation can be close to wanting to be rewarded for self-adaptation or the areas of self you wish to adapt next. Except there is a slight difference in a verbal or physical abuse edge to it. The desire for self-adaptation becomes confused with an abusive signal, a topic I have explored in the past. My posts are always specific situations, not always the case, but an interesting perspective to catch yourself on. That is how I like it. My page was created to not sugarcoat mental development content, and here we may approach tough topics. Today's topic is self-hate. Additionally, self-love with the intention of self-hate. Within this, we also highlight an unexpected sincerity to self-hate - an existing desire to be rewarded for the desire for adaptation at its core. Self-hate can be a pivotal sensation in times of self-change. Other times self-hate is conditioned, or sometimes even illogical. Other times, self-hate can cement into a strategy that one relies on daily. When self-hate becomes a weekly or daily strategy, it may be time to learn new techniques to catalyze your daily self-development. In the second angle, we explore how sometimes we may acknowledge or discuss our self-love exclusively and only with the intent to shame the part of ourselves that we do not like by contrast. That habit is simply one to watch out for. This can be an average and normal occurrence, however, watch if you physically can not love something about yourself without the contrast of hating another aspect always paired with it within the same moment. I have created videos discussing self-jealousy as well. I can do more videos on this. For those of you who have not been around my page, I am an ambassador for an organization of internationally recognized doctors who educate the public on advanced information about your nervous system. Speaking of - the next Integrative Somatic Trauma Certificate (ISTC 2024) is almost here. In the ISTC, 18 doctors who are internationally recognized, come together to discuss several different psychological lenses and evidence-based approaches for healing trauma. Some people may tend to think that mental pain or traumatic memories reside only in the past and are now only imagination floating in the mind, if not building us, bogging us down. Concepts like neuroplasticity, epigenetics, stored reactivity in the nervous system circuits, applied polyvagal theory, and somatic psychology educate on why trauma is not just a floating concept in the mind. It is in the body, altering the physiology itself. In class, we explore what you and all of us can do about that. More information means more effective change and recovery. In class, you learn how to metabolize outdated nervous system signals from the past. Other times you learn how to tell when the dominant nervous system network you are on at the moment switches. In other classes, you learn how to take over intellectualization and turn it into feeling and presentness. The focus is to discuss the science of letting it go when trauma is not just mental but stored in various other layers of physiology than just your thoughts. Last year, there were about 800 online students. Two different types of certificates are up now in my link. All educational backgrounds are welcome. Maybe take a chance this year. You can use my ambassador code in my link for any class, small or large. If you attend this year, let me know. If you sign up, message me, and I will sit in one of the online classes to support you. See you there. One-on-one somatic sessions are avalaible with me now. Social Validation Immunity Workbook in bio too. #learnwiththeembodylab #somatic #nervoussystemregulation
