i have severe brain damage, lv 2 autism, and all of the dys- disorders (dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia) and if i had a dollar for every time someone said I was 'blaming my disability' for something that is literall caused by my disabilites id have a million dolars.

not talking abt my intellectual disability.. but a physical one, i have diagnosed EDS(Ehlers-Danlos syndrome) and when I went to public school my PE teacher bullied me about not being able to move normally and said I was lying 😭🙏

Commenters, pls remember that learning disabilities and learning difficulties are different! E.g. Dyslexia = learning difficulty, Down's Syndrome =learning disability.

Have we forgotten what “disabilities” are? Whatever it affects (physical, mental, intellectual, developmental) it’s definitely gonna affect more than one thing that we do on a daily basis that differs from the majority even if it’s a simple thing.
