my 1st time in paris (we were a group of 20 just graduated college) we sent r bags up by themselves & had someone run up the stairs 2 pull them out cuz we couldn’t figure out how else 2 do it 😂

That makes me feel claustrophobic. Also age of the building doesn’t really have anything to do with it. It’s the size of the building and what they’re capable of holding. I work at an Art Museum that put in elevators about 100 years after the building was built and they are full size
