@4runner_lifestyle: Here’s a great visual example of why Yellow or Amber lighting is very useful against fog or even trail dust. Original video owner - @the_headlight_man Yellow light has a longer wavelength, so it actually scatters less in fog or other particulates, instead it cuts through it quite literally better than white light. Because white light contains colors like blue, which are shorter wavelengths, it gets scattered more quickly across water droplets or other small particles in the air, and a lot of it gets bounced back at you. This is exactly why you’ll see so many rigs with entirely Amber or yellow lighting. We’ve found it’s a big deal with trail dust as well even in the day time in some of Utahs trails that go through canyons. So, now you know you when see us rocking all yellow lights from Diode Dynamics, it’s for a good reason, (in addition to it looking a lot cooler 😎)
