it's really turning into a great family home. I've lived seeing your journey. rocky start to feeling calmer (minus the backyard plumbing).

How do you keep the squirrels and chipmunks out of your garden? They decimated my tomato plants and pepper plants. 😭

Ok, so being a little nitpicky, but where we live produce isn't nearly that expensive. With that said, growing your own food can't be mostly about money. It's real food with vastly more nutrients. I had to deep dive on this since my son was very disabled. I could say a lot, get geeky and go into the science, but I won't. You're harvesting health and happiness. Not kidding. Those leafy greens have something called Methylfolate that triggers serotonin and dopamine. Not having glycophosphate on them is a big deal- glycophosphate damages something called mitochondria in cells and wow does that lead to SO MANY horrific problems, including LESS serotonin. Growing food is important, goes far beyond money
