and someone who has studied a bit of photography basically the camera lens is not accurate and always distorts your face and it depends on the focal length so dont worry abt it too much not much you can do but changing the angle

mirrors are light reflecting off a 2d surface which means any sort of depth from the distance between the tip of your nose to the base wont be visible. the camera has depth
