Yea unrelated but the smaller accounts are insane with marketing and tiktok shop. I’ve seen them post how much money they make. It’s ridiculous. The influencer mindset is also sanitized

not enough ppl realize that influencers and their content are inherently unreliable and shouldn’t be taken seriously or viewed as anything besides entertainment everything they say and do as an influencer/for content is to market something so they make money

Breadtube is a cesspool of libs but I actually think you’d enjoy the video one of them made about canceling. Her theory tracks pretty well (from my memory; this was years ago) with what happened to you. This is why I could never be an influencer (also the fact I don’t have “it” 😅), I’m so scared of saying the wrong thing and wanting to give people the benefit of the doubt that I end up being too much of a fence sitter! I’m working on it, it’s something I want to be better at (being stronger in my convictions).
