@_amberinamerica: Not the Happy Father’s Day post I was expecting to make a few weeks ago 🫠 I can’t believe a few weeks ago I was planning a fun day of activities and looking for a Father’s Day card ‘from the bump’ SO excited that Josh was going to be home with us and not working. We ended up spending the afternoon at opposite ends of the sofa crying in front of Soccer Aid and Rory got his Dr’s kit out and kept yo-yoing between us checking our hearts and telling us we would ‘be okay later Mummy Daddy’. He’s such a sweet boy and I hate that we can’t hide this pain from him. He knows exactly what is happening and keeps asking if I’m sad because of the baby in my belly. Every time we each hug him we both burst into tears - I keep taking pictures so we can look back on rock bottom and laugh one day. I miss laughing. The bleeding and cramping was stopping and starting all day yesterday and never amounted to the carnage of January so…I know it’s not over yet. I called the Dr this morning and he said stick to Plan A - ultrasound tomorrow and surgery Wednesday so I’ll keep you posted on how this week works out. #pregnancyafterloss #ttc #miscarriage #miscarriageawareness #firsttrimester #blightedovum #anembryonicpregnancy
