The time spent making a budget could be spent working. The money that you have extra you'll feel the need to spend that money thus eventually lessening your extra money.

I do 25/75 where I take whatever is left from paying for the important stuff (groceries, rent, reoccurring expenses) and keep 25% for wants and 75% for savings

this worked in the early 2000s like 2010 and before. not anymore. I make 1700 a month and my rent is 1200, plus my 130 ish in utilities, then 40 in wifi then groceries... not to mention my credit card I'm paying off

Allegedly This CAKE KIT Makes ANYONE a PROFESSIONAL CAKE MAKER (and I call cap)-full review in the comments. Rate how I did 1-10? #foodreview #cake #hyperealistic #food #FoodLover FYI, this cake is NOT sponsored. I bought this with my own money because I genuinely love hyper-realistic cakes, and when I found out this kit allegedly turns anybody into a professional cake artist, I had to try it. First off, this thing was expensive. I almost paid $100 for it. I personally don’t think it’s worth $100, but I DO think the idea is very well thought out and executed. So let’s rate each step, then give an overall average. Step 1: Mixing, baking, cooling, and freezing the cake. This part was honestly very easy. It’s basically like making a box cake while following both the written instructions and the tutorial video. The only issue is there’s a discrepancy between the written instructions and the video regarding water, which can be confusing if you’re only reading the instructions. Also, pro tip: while the cake is freezing for two hours, go ahead and make the ganache so both can rest at the same time. That’ll save you HOURS. Overall rating for Step 1: 9.5/10. Step 2: Making the chocolate ganache. Again, very easy and not messy at all. You melt the chocolate provided and mix it with heavy whipping cream that you provide. The problem is the instructions don’t clearly tell you the ganache also needs to sit for two hours unless you watch the full video. That delayed me badly and probably affected how smooth my chocolate turned out. Still got the job done though. Step 2 rating: 9/10. Overall rating: 8.5/10. Would I recommend this kit? Heck yes. I don’t think it’s worth nearly $100, but I do think it’s a really fun and creative experience if you’re into baking or hyper-realistic cakes. And honestly, I kinda wanna do a part two and try the plant kit next. So if this video does well, maybe we’ll run it back. Or y’all can tag Johnny and tell him to send me one since I basically got his job now.
