Right people would buy them for lumber. Don’t pay them to be removed. They will make money on them. If you pay to have them removed stack them then you sale them to someone else.

We have these nightmares in the Pacific Northwest called Cotton Woods. My grandpa called them food for the forest because of the shallow root system and all they do is fall over and feed the good evergreen trees. Two months after we moved out of our house a massive Cottonwood fell on the house, right where my son‘s crib would have been. I would always from now on opt to cut them down. Too risky

Oh with Kat & Rita our tall long leaf pines were blowing sideways for 8 hours in one direction and then 8 hours in the other direction; we didn’t lose any pines, but the hard woods got knocked down.

Screw $1k a tree!! Growing up in VA with pine trees in the yard. Get you a good pulley system. Hook the pulley to another tree in the direction you want it to fall. Crank the chainsaw up an let's Gooooooo!! Easy Breezy!! 🪚

My backyard is nothing but trees and backs into a protected preserve. First few years I was so scared they’d fall into the house. Here I am, 15 years later and only have had a few big branches. I was quoted around $1000 per tree 🤷🏻♀️

the people I bought my house from cut down every pine tree on the property! left the stumps sweet gum trees grew out of every one way worse than the pine trees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we had 21 trashy white pines on our property when we bought it. those trees are never meant to be that old and when they begin falling apart they fall apart in huge chunks. I had multiple where the entire top half of the tree broke off. if you have them taken out, do it all at once and you'll get a bit of a price break per tree. I had all mine done plus 5 holly bushs for 15k in TN.
