The problem with this is, people are also overpaid, and the bill doesn't solve that. The gender pay gap is inexistent. I audited that for 122 companies within a group. This is all just a campaigning strategy, the bill won't pass

I did disclose and they said how much would you want?, I simply doubled what I was earning they said “ how did you arrive to such an amount” then me said “if I get what I want you a sure that I won’t be jumping ships anytime soon”

Thing is, the post will be like 700k to 1.5mil annually. You can still be within that bracket but be at the bottom, while others are at the top portion of the bracket.. The gaps in the brackets needs to be addressed as well

I have declined job offers twice because of this. You can’t benchmark my salary if I am moving from an Accountant to Manager role. Worst part is I knew how much other managers were earning at the firm and my offer was nonsense to say the least.

My last company is getting away with unfair salaries I am glad this is raised and dealt with. Because what do you mean we do the same job, same experience and I have qualifications and you don’t (but my qualifications are not needed for this job) but so and so still get twice my salary. Yet I work hard and always on the best performers.
