@alexsfoodieadventures: Patient wolf gin, Southbank This Friday (June 20), Patient Wolf Gin is hosting a one night only collab with UGO Burrata Bar: 5 courses, 4 gin cocktails, all inside their Southbank distillery. It’s moody, intimate and bursting with flavour. Here’s what’s on the menu ($150pp): • On arrival: Stracciatella crostino with anchovy + a mini Pickle Plate martini • Entrée: Brussels sprouts, pancetta, mandarin + burrata, with the Citrus Gang cocktail (Pink Lake Gin) • Primo: Coffee-infused risotto, pistachio + burrata, paired with a Black Forest Espresso Mini-tini • Main: Porchetta with fennel + blood orange, matched with a Bloody Mary twist • Dessert: Sticky date pudding with Melbourne Dry Gin butterscotch + burrata (yes, even dessert has burrata) Our collective favourite dish of the evening was the beautiful risotto which was cooked al dente. We both agreed that regular cutlery would be best for the price point of $150 and a final cocktail to pair with the dessert. There’s 2 sittings available: 6pm & 8:15pm and limited spots available.
