if a person has a handicap tag/sticker no police officer can nor is it there job to make a medical diagnosis about someone's medical condition,nor does anyone have to tell them there medical condition!!!! that's their hipa law Rights!!!!! learn the law guys

It is true some people take advantage of handicapped plaques and tags But at the same time just because someone doesn't look handicapped doesn't mean they're not don't judge a book by its cover until you've read the story

Everyone doesn’t have a visible disability I suffered a mild stroke I have severe asthma and Rheumatoid Arthritis and take chemotherapy but if you saw me you wouldn’t think I have a disability but I have multiple chronic conditions so I have a handicap placard. Period

I have a permanent handicap placard. Anyone who has had a knee replacement qualifies for a handicap placard. I have had both knees replaced. Most days my knees are good and I won’t use my handicap placard, but when I’m having bad days, I definitely use it.

You can't see all handicaps, some people just have problems walking long distance. I have a handicap sticker and I use it because I can't walk far distance. I also tried my mother around that's in her 80s, and she has a handicapped sticker and we use it when I'm driving. I'll be sitting in the car or both of us will be in the grocery store. I see people all the time with handicap stickers and some people even park there when they don't have handicapped stickers. One time I saw this person parking in a handicap parking place and they did not have a handicap sticker. They were parked all the way to the side. Leaving the parking place open, but no one would park there. I am glad that they are being more strict on handicapped stickers, but there are people out there that are handicapped.That really need the handicapped spots.

They have no idea what kind of pain a person is in. They can look perfectly fine, but still be in pain.

You can't look at a person and tell if they have a disability. Some people have visibility that are not visible. Most people think that you need to be in a wheelchair while walking limping. That is not true.

I was in an accident some years ago. I was offered a handicap placard. I refused it. I don’t wanna park anywhere close to the building. I rather try walking and work my body. I wasn’t trying to let my condition get worser.

Handicap doesn’t just mean a physical handicap. There are many people with internal issues such as cardiopulmonary issues, autoimmune issues. I drive my husband to the doctor etc and I park in handicap and he goes inside.

I would say 95% of the time this is true, but I had a friend that had chemo and she had terminal cancer and she had a handicap sticker and because after chemo, she was so sick she could barely walk. She had a handicap sticker

The cops are NEVER around to even give a ticket…. Seen ppl with no plague or tag anywhere but they are packed in handicap

I have a temporary handicap cuz I’m pregnant. They tried giving me a ticket bcuz they said I didn’t have a disability but I showed them my paperwork and they went about their day
