Not to sound corny, but he is right about “good job”, when people get praised they get more lazy and full of themselves, I used to do music and my teacher used to lower me down, and call me useless and it used to upset me that I tried to progress and show him I’m better, even tho it quite destroyed my mentality and I cannot accept positivity anymore, but he said himself at the end that I was the best out of everyone, but at the end it made me hate music, that I haven’t picked it up for 8 years now
