could have been like a Brazilian blowout which is honestly really close to a relaxer, it's definitely different chemicals but the blow out you spray something in the hair and then blowdry/flat iron it in and it makes your hair straighter

It’s a product that you can buy over the counter. It’s a permanent straightening serum. My sister used to use them when we were kids cuz her hair is crazy curly. Can take up to like 5-10 years to go away
