What I hate about this is that all the markers of AI are evolving so quickly. It used to be as simple as “count the fingers” and now it’s “check the softness” and next year it will be something we can’t even describe yet.

this works now, but in the very near future we're going to need some kind of cryptographic signatures or blockchain based verification to confirm that a video is actually human made. This will happen sooner than most think

another red flag is the simulacrum will often shift their eyes around alot, move their face alot, their mouth wont match the things they say, or the voice is weirdly monotone in some places

AI models should encrypt a universal code into their videos so they can be identified. they are getting harder to ide tified every day and thats gonna be problem somewhere

The lipsync is also usually off. the words will be finished but the mouth is still moving or it's not moving in a natural way

The problem is when you spend time on a video to check it can boost it because it's technically getting more engagement. Personally though, I do find you can often just tell, there's a kind if weird, uncanny, hollow feeling to them. I just "do not recommend" as soon as I suspect it. Sometimes I might be wrong but better safe than sorry

It also just looks soulless and very uncanny. I feel like a lot of people will get the feeling that it’s AI but not really have the reason why they feel that way.

most if not all of the examples in this video, have a weird soft white border around the person. You can especially see it around their shoulders.
