I love Matthew in the Bible and I love Matthew in the Chosen. I always think how it must have felt back then, walking with Jesus, talking with Him. Eating with Him. Asking Him questions and getting His answer right there. And then the agony Jesus must have felt how they didn’t fully understand and comprehend what He was teaching them. I think about this so much and wonder how I would feel, or react or comprehend. Honestly, I truly love The Chosen, it makes me think beyond the Word. How the characters relationships with Jesus must have been, daily. It’s broadened my understanding. Thank you!
