@foraugustine: Augustine’s left eye squinted when we went outside. I made an appointment with ophthalmology and he has a cataract that developed on his left eye. Cataracts are expected with his diagnosis and he’ll need prompt surgery to have it removed. If we didn’t get it checked he risks losing vision in that eye entirely. I’ve learned to just check everything, trust your gut, if something tells you something is off then just get a test to confirm or deny #mitchellsyndrome #17q12deletion #cataractsurgery #raredisease
