Geologist here. Vinegar isn’t going to hurt natural stone unless it’s limestone or marble. Quartz or granite countertops are fine.

dont use vinegar on cast iron. dont use on screens of electronics (can cause them to look cloudy permanently). dont use it on unsealed grout either. be careful using it on metal plated fixtures and use it sparingly on your athletic wear as it can break down the elasticity

Vinegar does not harm modern clothing/dish washers. As long as it’s 5% acidity or less. People that keep saying it does are probably using too much or too high acidity %.

I worked for a hardwood flooring company, we always told consumers to use diluted vinegar to clean floors. If you use soap you cannot use urethane ever again to sand and refinish.

I’ve been using vinegar in my washer and dishwasher for years. Zero issues. I also put a tiny bit in with my Castile soap for my hardwood floors. They turn out so clean and super shiny 🤷🏼♀️
