No the golden rule in car buying is NEVER let them do the finance or look for the bankers for you. what you do is negotiate the best price take that to the credit union the credit union thinks it's a good deal they will cut you a check for that amount. then you bring the check to the dealership give it to them and drive off in your vehicle and before y'all say this does not work. this is the way I have bought vehicles for the last 40 years of my life

Problem is customers go in there knowing salesmen don’t care if you can afford the payment or not. Receptionist saved her money. If you’re a good person then you should be mad. If you were screwing them then you got your karma.
