I hope you see this! my sister is a stage 4 colon cancer survivor that spread to her liver, also receives treatment at MSK and received the hepatic pump. We call it the “hockey puck” - she had amazing results and it allowed for her liver tumors to shrink enough to operate and remove! Hang in there and know you are not alone 🤍

My mom was given 3-6 months to live and was terribly ill and not responding to chemo. They tried an experimental chemo and she has a remarkable response - and lived another 7 years! Hope is not lost Syd

oncology nurse here - sending hugs because it is okay & normal to not be positive 24/7 & you should feel validated in your feelings 🫂 but hepatic pumps have done amazing things for many, so i hope you can hold onto that hope if you need it. 🥹🫶🏼

I know that it seems so discouraging. I can’t imagine how you feel. My dad had an experimental drug and the pump and it worked. The plan may be different than what you had hoped but it’s just a different path
