a funny piece of this is that once a skill reaches a certain level of acclaim it stops being feminine and becomes an exclusive space for men. examples: women are cooks, men are chefs. women are nurses, men are doctors. (obviously these are nonsense, but that's their logic. it's only girly until it isn't for some reason)
