Oil change every 5k fuel filter and water separator every other oil change. Some say it’s overboard but that’s what I do. 2017 Cummins.

It’s not uncommon to see glitter in fuel systems. It’s not good typically it’s from the injection pump body… and you’re right a good additive does help maintain
