@zeto.r: The starting system of the engine utilizes pressurized air to drive a turbine at high speed. This turbine applies a torque to the engine high pressure rotor system through a reduction gear in the (starter) turbine and through the engine accessory drive system. The air which is necessary to drive the starter comes from : - the APU, - or the second engine, - or a ground power unit. The starter air supply is controlled by a starter shutoff valve (SOV) pneumatically operated and electrically controlled. The SOV has a manual override capability which permits the valve to be opened or closed in case of failure of the electrical control. The starter shutoff valve closes when the N2 speed reaches 50 percent *********video is just for information purposes always stick to the latest maintenance manual. For this purpose, I didn´t record one removal/installation step********* #airbus #airbus320 #a320 #aircraft #aircraftmaintenance #howto #aircraftlovers #aircraftengineer #aircrafttechnician #starter #start #startervalve #howtostart #engine #aviationgeeks #aviationgeeksociety #wheel #zeto.r #breakdown #components #wefixyoufly #learningeveryday #creatingjourneystronger #austrianairlines
Can you show the paper work required for each activity? How do airlines track work completion and quality control?

Good video but it will be good to start off with a good standard practice to follow the up to date AMM(mention the ATA chapter). Keep up the good video bro.

Harnessing Power from Rotating Turbine Blades
Possible Approaches
1. *Piezoelectric devices*: These devices can generate electricity when subjected to mechanical stress, such as vibrations or rotations.
2. *Electromagnetic induction*: Devices that use magnetic fields to generate electricity as the turbine blades rotate.
3. *Thermoelectric generators*: These devices can convert waste heat from the engine into electricity.
Challenges and Considerations
1. *Integration with existing systems*: Any new devices would need to be integrated with the existing engine systems, ensuring reliability and safety.
2. *Weight and efficiency*: The devices would need to be lightweight and efficient to minimize impact on the engine's overall performance.
3. *Durability and maintenance*: The devices would need to withstand the harsh environment of a jet engine and be designed for easy maintenance.
Potential Benefits
1. *Increased efficiency*: Generating additional power from the rotating turbine blades could improve overall engine efficiency.
2. *Reduced fuel consumption*: By harnessing waste energy, the engine might consume less fuel, leading to cost savings and reduced emission
