i broke my thumb nail recently and my tech made me a โprostheticโ nail on a nail ring!! maybe an option for girlies who have broken nails/greenies but still want a full set :)

It is a fungus. Must treat with anti fungal cream. I get this a lot. I lost half my thumb nail from this fungus.

where are yall getting this info? I had a tiny spot but my nails tech explained that i have to get it checked by an actual doctor and treat it, she only put gel on the rest of the nails when I got all of them checked out

how can you identify that it's a bacterial infection and then immediately say it's not contagious..? Of course it's contagious and the risk of spreading is greatly increased when you're buffing the infected area

do not apply over it oh god๐ญ this was caused by lifting and moisture getting under the tip just like you mentioned, but you CANNOOTTTTT apply product over it. go to the doctor or let it naturally grow out
