That’s why I just put steel lug nuts on all my trucks they are just as nice and don’t have to worry about the swelling

If they are too bad for the socket I use my Astro lug extractor set. They are straight cut and will bite and still let you put them back on if the customer declines new ones

I beat a socket onto them, unscrew them, take a punch and beat the nut off, repeat. Replace with solid nuts. The trick is to never use an impact to fully tighten or loosen them, break them loose first.
