I’m a teller at a bank & alot of wealthy ppl make their requests on a written note if they’re making a big withdrawal so that there’s less risk of them getting possibly robbed by another client or an actual robber that might be near by while the transaction is happening. They try to dress & ask discreetly cuz once they leave the doors it’s their responsibility if they get robbed, not the banks. The teller should have pulled up his account & asked more questions before jumping to conclusions, it’s our duty & due diligence to know as tellers.

This goes back to judging a book by its cover. If he came in wearing some fancy suit, he would get all the attention, but the man is trying to be humble and avoid that attention. Racism also has played apart in this. This is sad.
